Getting here by car
For driving directions, click on the link below the map.
We have one off-street parking spot, and parking is free on our street. (Make sure you park heading with the traffic. Cars facing the wrong way may be ticketed.)
Caution to visiting drivers! It is unlawful to use any handheld device (cell phone, GPS, etc.) while driving in British Columbia. You risk a $543 fine if you do it.
From the airport by car or taxi
We don't have the downtown traffic, so it takes about 25 minutes. The taxi flat rate from YVR to the Corkscrew Inn is $31.
From the airport by public transit
This trip will take about 45 minutes and your ticket costs $9.10 (but only $6.95 going back), valid on both train and bus. From YVR-Airport Station, take a train with platform sign "Canada Line to Waterfront". Get off at Olympic Village Station and take bus 84-UBC, westbound (the stop is just outside the station). Get off at Macdonald Street. You're on the northwest corner of Macdonald and 4th Avenue. Walk north (towards mountains) two blocks and right half a block on 2nd Avenue to The Corkscrew Inn.
Getting around and about
We are very well served by public transit. With seven bus routes stopping only two blocks away, we seldom take a car downtown. With so much nearby, we do our local errands on foot.
