Karen, our General Manager, was born and raised in Saskatchewan.   She has made Kitsilano home for the past decade.

She comes to the Inn from a background as a professional baker.   Karen loves to be outdoors and enjoys exploring the local area.   Many days she can be found running by Kits Beach or up the Grouse Grind trail.

Karen looks forward to making your stay an enjoyable one.

Wayne retired from a worldwide sales and marketing business in the high-tech world in 2000. He has been an avid winemaker and collector of corkscrews and wine paraphernalia since the early 1970's. He also collects many other things, including pre-1900 toy guns, Asian padlocks and betel cutters.

Wayne is the author of the definitive reference book, Compendium of Bar Corkscrews.

Sal is responsible for our decor.   She created our leaded windows, mosaic floor, and gardens.   You will likely see her wielding a trowel or a paint brush.

She is editor of the Canadian Corkscrew Collectors Club newsletter, The Quarterly Worme.  She is also responsible for what you see and read on our website.  She and Wayne published Austrian Figural Corkscrew Design in 2015.
